More Killer Images

Those of you that have been following my blog know that I rarely offer discounts on my work, but with all the art shows closing down for the year that I participate at, it seems only reasonable to offer this now online. This is one of my images that I started several months ago. As things go, other things always come into play, like finding the right background, the right sky, and the time to put it all together along with going through back surgery. This is one of those images that I think does what all art should; they affect how the viewer see things. Your mind will fill in the gaps. What do you think?

I'm starting off the new year with a bang! I was invited to participate in a group show being held at "The Studio Door" Gallery in San Diego. The exhibition dates are, January 4 - February 29, 2020.

Kicking Open The Door

Hi all,

Kicking open the time machine door, what do you think of when I mention Lucille Ball and the "Long, Long Trailer?" It was a hilarious movie from 1954. The trailer used was a 36' Redman New Moon model, not much different than the "Spartan Mansion" in my image.

Rather than a written ramble about the small details of each. I encourage my readers to take a moment to study this image close-up to capture the full effect how life was lived on the road back in the day. Can you imagine looking at this each day and wondering the life it has lived and why, need I say, are the classic flamingos there?

Road Trip

The Stuff Dreams Were Made Of....

I've had a slight obsession with vintage trailers lately. They were the things dreams were made of. Used going camping with the family, a place to rest after a long day of fishing, sitting around a glowing hot camp fire, marshmallows stuck on an old metal clothes hanger. Good memories...

One has to wonder what memories could this "Canned Ham" trailer tell.... Let your thoughts wonder.
