Just a Snapshot...

"Just a Snapshot" is exactly what Strother MacMinn took when he spotted this Delahaye sitting on a Pasadena used car lot next to an MG in the very early fifties. Strother knew genus when he saw it, and well he should have. He was a mainstay in the world of automotive design for close to fifty years, spending his time teaching young students how to find taste and innovation within themselves at the "Art Center School." The school was renamed, the "Art Center College of Design" after it was moved to Pasadena. Imagine what he thought when he spotted the now famous Delahaye waiting for some person to make an offer and drive away. If only we could turn the clock back to witness rolling art like this being offered up as used cars.
